This was my first time at Camporama and what an exciting time it was. I was there with my son, an Adventure Ranger, and we both were just blessed by the services at night, the worship band was awesome and as soon as we made our way up the hill you could feel the presence of God and the anticipation of what was going to happen that night. I will be there, Lord willing, in 2010 and this time I will bring both of my sons and anyone else who would like to expierence the grandure of National Camporama.

Our first Camporama was in 2002.  The kids had a great time. My family traveled up to be in the service Thursday night. Our brief visit during the afternoon was during the time of the huge rain storm, but it was fun hanging out in the lodge, watching the boys get involved in arm wrestling, talking or other activities with boys from around the nation.  I was very impressed with the candlelight service, watching the mountainside light up with Rangers dedicated to God.
Our outpost went again this year and my son again attended.  He is 15 and is a GMA. He must have enjoyed it becasue he has already been trying to figure out he can go in 4 more years!  While we were not able to go we enjoyed the photo galleries and the video updates online. I think you do an awesome job with Camporama and I am glad to see that all the national leaders recognize the importance of not only supporting it with their prayers, but by their presence.  For truly, it is as you say, these boys are the future of the Assemblies of God and Royal Rangers.

I am the children's pastor at our church, and I am blessed to have been able to attend.  This was my first Camporama.  Overall I had wonderful experience.  Boys had very little idle time because of all the daily activities and swimming.  I had particular interest in the Frontier village.  I was impressed by the diverse trades & skills, demonstrations, and items for sale.  My boys tell me I did really well in trading hat pins, so that was fun too.  Services were powerful.  I enjoyed the variety of speakers because they all had different stories and shared different perspectives.  Many of our boys were truly touched by God. I appreciate the vision and hard work of the national team.  All in all, Camporama (or is it CamporAma?) was a great success!

Camporama was great.  This was my seventh and maybe the best.  A great job getting everything ready. The campground is really greatly improved.  All services were the best ever and speakers were really on target to reach everybody. Hot but fun.

Had a great time at camporama. We were staying in the IPHC area.  Question? My son apparently enterred and won the 10 year age group for mountain bikes. His name was Franklin Edward Elliott III. I did not know he had enterred and did not check for a medal and was wonderring if it would be possible to have it sent to him.

This was my second Camporama and our boys had a great time.  The food was much improved over four years ago and while the weather was 108, water stations were plentiful.

This was my first Camporama.  I really enjoyed all the daytime activities that I saw, but above all, I enjoyed the Word from God that I received through the men of God each evening.  The praise and worship was awesome.  If anything else that I could add is: the wonderful fellowship of seeing men and boys, united in one brotherhood seeking God's infinite blessings and promises.  We were all there in one accord and spirit, united as one body, the Body of Christ, and this is just only the beginning.  Let us continue to work hard through this wonderful ministry of Royal Rangers and continue to reach, teach and keep boys and girls for Christ.  God bless!!!

This was my first Camporama, and I had a fantastic time. The services were awesome, the fellowship a blessing, the heat amazing (PTL), the events spectacular. Everything was a worthwhile experience. Already planning 2010. God Bless all of the National staff for a job well done.

Camporama was awesome! This was my third one and it was by far the hottest but the evening services and guest speakers were the best of all three Camporamas.

This was our first time to get to go to National Camporama.  We had a blast and the boys loved it especially.  I know that God has big, awesome plans for our outpost.  We are loking forward to National Camorama 2010.  We'll see you there!

WOW!!! this camporama was amazing! This was my first Camorama and definately not my last and it was one of the best weeks of my WHOLE life and I can't wait until 2010. If the Lord tarries I will be there. I would personally like to thank Pastor Ruiz because his message changed my life forever! I also would like to extend my personal gratitude to ALL the National staff for all the hard work that they put into this WONDERFUL event. See you in 2010!

This was my first Camporama, and it was great. This was special because I was able to attend it with my son and he had an awsome time. Also there are two boys in my outpost that are interested in FCF so now I have to learn about FCF which I have wanted to do but no boys were interested in it. God bless you guys and thanks for a awesome 2006 camporama. See you in four years.

This was my 7th Camporama.  I might not have come this year but this one was the first that my son was old enough to attend so we got a group together and everyone loved it.  One of the other commanders had never been before and he was amazed and excited -- "Ready" to bring another group next time.
The Web site is great.  My wife was keeping up from home and called me when she saw that my son had placed in the first-ever National Archery Tournament.  She loved the Web site as did others who had come in the past and were wishing they had attended this one.  The boys really enjoyed the archery tournament and are counting on participating next time.  Looks like they will make sure that next Camporama is number 8 for me.

Camporama was awesome! I have only been involved with Royal Rangers for a few years and this was the first time that I have been to Camporama. My son Isaac and I were the only ones from our outpost to attend. The entire event was planned and organized to the highest degree possible. Every detail was well thought out. From the food service area and dining tents to the registration and packet pickup areas. Superb job! The new buildings and shelters really paid off in the hot afternoon sun. The food was great and the service was better. The volunteers were enthusiatic and extremely helpful.
The worship band did an outstanding job. The speakers were inspiring. The fireworks on Thursday were the best that I have ever seen. All combined to make this Camporama one terrific, unforgettable experience. Well Done! See you in 4 years. The Camporama Web site is the bomb. Blessings to you all.

What a tremendous and enjoyable time I had. Meeting and working with so many great Rangers. We were blessed and I hope to take some of my Camporama fire and spread it even more here in my district/region. God is so good to us, everyone did a great job and I am especially thankful for the top-notch medical care. Thank you to all the men and boys who volunteered time helping me in the Northeast area.
I will be looking forward to 2010!!

It was HOT but we had a great time.  The services were awesome and it was great meeting guys from all over the world. It was fun trading pins and all the activities were also fun. It was HOT but the staff and speakers brought God's presence to us every day! Did I mention it was HOT?
I cant wait untill 2010 and maybe my dad will get to go!
Thanks to all the workers and staff for all you did all week long! Oh yeah, It was HOT.

Just want to say that being able to participate in Comporama via the Web helped me stay connected to my sons and husband attending in 2006.  As a result of their attendence with another Ranger family from the outpost, the event will be made available to the entire outpost in 2010.
Let the fundraising begin!

Camporama was the best thing that ever happened in my life. I wish it was every year. The food was great!

Camporama was awesome! This was my first since 1982 when I attended as a Pioneer.  The activities were fun; the food was good; and the services were great.  I know of no better form of motivation for our leaders than the Camporama experience.

Since I could not go to Camporama, I kept checking the site everyday.  It is great--the galleries, the videos--this was great.
Here in Costa Rica we re-starting Royal Rangers again with the new program. We have had National Camporamas in the past, but not as huge as yours.  We never got any hat or shirt or patch--no way.  I hope you put the hats and shirt for sale soon.  I want all of them.
I will start saving to be able to go to the next one, if Jesus has not come back yet.
God bless you,
Willy

I couldn't go to Camporama but my husband went again with a new group of Rangers. I knew God was going to do something with all the things that went wrong before they left. I loved being able to look at pictures and videos each day. I didn't feel so far away from them all.
God's protection was with them as they lost a wheel off the van on the way home. I would like to see more videos for those of us Ranger "wannabes" that have to stay at home.

Your Web site was wonderful!  It was so nice to be able to view the daily activities and services.  I am so thankful for all the has been done to make this such a huge success for our boys.  Just one praise report--my son is 11, and came home and told me that he has been called into the ministry.
Thank you again,

This National Camporama was awesome. This is the first National Camporama I went to and it was more than I could of imagined. The band was great, because they were there to worship and glorify God.  The evening services were awesome.  You could tell that God was present.  It was really cool sitting in the front row with the National Staff on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Randy Ruiz brought the word and the presence of God was there.
I can now say I have a friend in each region in the United States.  We have become really close in this past week.  Thank you to John Hicks and the rest of National Staff on making this all happen and showing us a great time.

I want to say thank you for the Camporama Web site.  It was great.  I was not able to attend so the Web site was my connection.  I looked forward each day to read the articles and see the pictures of what was taking place.  Again, thank you for allowing me to connect to Camporama through the Web site.

This was my first Camporama and words cannot describe how great an experience it was--for both the men and boys in our outpost. The morning and evening services were fantastic and the band was great! Minus the heat, we'll miss every bit of it. See you again in 2010! This time with more Rangers!

This was my sixth Camporama and the second one with my son in attendance (he is 16 yrs old). We had a terrific time! Since he is currently the District Scout, he loved the FCF village but the best thing of all was the worship services. The praise & worship team was inspiring and truly set the tone for the wonderful speakers each night.
My son and I cried and hugged before the presence of God as we lifted our hands in praise to our Lord. This was truly a Camporama we'll never forget.
Thank you for this new format of evening services.

This Camporama was great; this was the first time I'd ever been to one, and what can I say?  I loved it--all the speakers where great, and Bibleman was very entertaining in the beginning of services. There was more to do than I ever imagined.  Although the heat index was somewhere in the 110s I wouldn't rather be anywhere else with my district and other national rangers of the year. Thank you to John Hicks and the rest of the national staff for making it happen

Thank you for an Amazing time!! Our Rangers and Commanders have been touched and will never be the same. The nightly services will always be remembered. We are excited to share our experiences, pictures and videos with Rangers, Commanders and parents who did not get to attend.
One moment that touched me was when Commander Mariott took the time to sign a young man's hat, bible and camp shirts. I noted that the shirts were very dirty, smelly and wadded into a ball. Obviously worn the last few days during the very hot weather. Commander Mariott calmly noted how these seemed a little dirty as he tried to unwad each to find a clean spot to sign. He signed them and handed them back to a smiling and very happy young man. That speaks to the quality of leadership the Rangers have and the heart for young men that is in them. God Bless all that worked so hard to bring the Camporama to all of us that attended. It was wonderful!

Since I was a boy, I wanted to attend a Camporama. I am 34 now and this was my first and it was more than I ever could have imagined: the activities, friendship and bonding were great, but I will never forget the awesome and mighty move of God during the evening services and what He did in my life. Thank you to everyone who made this event what it was.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures of Camporama.  I loved checking at night and in the mornings for new pictures.  I would sit at my computer with goose bumps, hoping to see my husband and son and crying over the worship segments!

I have just returned home and want you to know that we had such a great time at Camporama.  This was our first time leaving the state of California on a trip together for me and my 3 boys (Sebastian 16, Joshua 15, and Jacob 13).  My sons loved the FCF village; they visited it everyday.  They loved trading for pins.  They loved all the speakers every night impacted their souls.  The band has got to be one of the best worship bands ever!  We were lost in the holy spirit when they played.  They made lots of friends and swapped e-mails.  It was a great experience.

I was Ohio District Commander from '73-78 and led Ohio Rangers to the first Camporama in '74 to Colorado and the second one in Idaho in '78 -- and have never missed another Camporama till the current one!  In '02 I knew it would be my last one due to health problems.  Much to my surprise two days ago as I was reading A/G News I saw the link to the present Camporama. WOW!!!  I sat and watched and listened to segments of everything going on there, and could still do it as daily updates appeared!  I can't understand modern technology -- but I sure enjoy it!!  All I can say is, thank you again and again for making it happen on site!

My son had a TERRIFIC time!!!  I appreciate the dedication of the men who listened to God's call to become involved at each and every level of the Royal Ranger ministry.
I know that I have not heard everything that happened, but I know that God surrounded each and every man and boy who was there.
Thank You!!

This was my third Camporama (1990 & 1994) This was by far the best. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! We have already been told by seven more people that they will be going in 2010. That means that we have already doubled the amount of boy's that came this year. Let's go for 10,000 BOYS in 2010.

I was very impressed with the organization of the event.  I could tell that there was much effort expended in making this a memorable event for all who participated.  The worship services were my favorite time during Camporama.  Each speaker was anointed to touch both men and boys.  The music was inspirational.  The last night of the Camporama was very memorable.  The fireworks was first class and awe-inspiring. The lighting of the candles was truly touching.  I will not soon forget this event.  It gave us the motivation to make our Outpost even better.  Our boys and commanders who attended are pumped.  Ian did an outstanding job as head chef!  The food was fantastic.  Overall, I would give this Camporama an "A++"

The food was unbelievable and the ice cream was great on hot days. I was amazed how quick the lines were. The hospital staff were kind as they helped me and even took time to pray with me. The FCF Village was neat with a super variety of things to see; I bought a powder horn. The activities and entrances were fun and showed a how creative our Rangers are. I do wonder about those who put on the mermaid costume for the dunking booth. And you can't beat worshipping in the outdoors among the hills.
